These, and most errors occurring when an attempt is made to dispense, can be solved by simply running the option, Change Active Dispenser from the installation CD.  Follow these instructions:

The two dispenser manufacturers in use most frequently will be Fluid Management/Colorpro and Corob. Find out which one you have.  Have you installed the dispenser software on the same PC as Paintmaker/DC Paint (software to software) or have you installed the dispenser software on a separate PC (computer to computer).  Follow one of the two procedures below:

For Software to Software, exit Paintmaker / Datacolor Paint, and any other application, and place the installation CD for the current version you are running, into the CD rom drive. When the CD autostarts, select Change Active Dispenser. Choose the appropriate manufacturer from the list, then choose either Harbil/Colorpro for the Fluid Management dispensers or Corob for the Corob dispensers. Then click Next.  Then select Software to Software from the next menu that appears. Click Next. Files will then be loaded, and when finished, you will be back at the Windows desktop. You should now be ready to dispense formulas.
