Can I mix stainless steel beakers with black coated beakers?
No, you may not mix them. In fact, it can
create dangerous situations! The latest range of Ahiba dyeing beakers are made of polished Stainless Steel (SS). The Black Coated beakers will heat up faster than the SS beakers. So, if you mix them, you may risk that beakers will open when heating up to high temperatures. For example, if the reference beaker is a SS version and the set temperature is 130
8
C, the black coated beaker
can
have a temperature of 150
C, the black coated beaker can have a temperature of >
8
C or higher. This will result in a high built up pressure (depending on the amount of liquor) and can
open the lid.
